Conde Mortgage Corp — Privacy Policy

The short version

  • We collect the information you give us so we can help you with a home loan or real estate.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We never share your mobile phone number or text message consent with anyone for their marketing.
  • You can stop texts any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
  • California residents have extra rights, and we honor them.
  • We use AI tools, including AI voice assistants, to help answer calls and messages. A real person makes all loan decisions, and you can ask for a person any time.

This policy covers our websites (including condemortgage.com and our loan officer pages), our text messages, emails, phone calls and forms.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, phone number, mailing and property address, and the details you enter in our forms, calculators, booking calendars and loan applications. With a loan application, this can include income, employment, assets, debts, Social Security number, date of birth and credit information.
  • Information from others: credit reports (only with your permission), lenders, title and escrow companies, appraisers, real estate agents and public records, as needed for your loan or transaction.
  • Automatic information: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and cookies or similar tools that help our website work and help us understand how it is used.

How we use information

  • To answer your questions and give you quotes, pre-qualifications and loan options
  • To process, service and close your loan or real estate transaction
  • To send appointment reminders, loan status updates and requested information by phone, email or text
  • To send marketing messages, only if you agreed to receive them
  • To meet legal and regulatory duties, prevent fraud and keep our systems secure
  • To improve our website and services

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only as needed to serve you or as the law requires:

  • Lenders, investors and loan servicers that review or fund your loan
  • Service providers that help us run our business (for example credit reporting, loan origination software, appraisal, title, escrow, secure document storage, and our customer relationship and messaging platform). They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Government agencies, regulators or courts when required by law
  • A buyer of our business, if our company is sold or merged, under the same protections

Mobile and text message information: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages (SMS)

  • Opt-in: You get text messages from us only if you gave consent, for example by checking the consent box on one of our forms or by texting us first. Consent to texts is never a condition of getting a loan or buying anything.
  • Types of messages: appointment reminders, loan status updates, replies to your questions and, if you agreed, occasional marketing or rate updates.
  • How often: Message frequency varies.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Stop: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed.
  • Help: Reply HELP for help, or call (760) 517-7171 or email martin@condemortgage.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

See our Terms of Service for the full SMS program terms.

Email and phone calls

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email. You can ask us to stop marketing calls at any time. We honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal do-not-call list.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and AI voice assistants

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help us respond faster and serve you better.

  • Where we use AI: AI chat assistants on our website and in text messages, AI voice assistants that may answer or place phone calls, and AI tools that help us schedule appointments, summarize conversations, draft messages and route your request to the right loan officer.
  • AI voice calls: When you call us, or when we call you, you may speak with an AI voice assistant. We will tell you at the start of the call. We only place AI or prerecorded voice calls to you if you gave us prior express consent, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and FCC rules. Marketing AI calls require your prior express written consent.
  • Inbound and outbound: This section covers communications you start (inbound calls, texts, chats, voicemails, emails and web forms you send to us) and communications we start (outbound calls, texts, voicemails, including ringless voicemail, and emails we send to you). Outbound calls and texts may use automated technology, an autodialer, AI-generated voice or prerecorded messages, only with the consent the law requires. We call and text only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in your local time, and we honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal do-not-call list.
  • Call recording and transcripts: Calls with us, including AI voice calls, may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, record-keeping and compliance. We will tell you at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us or hang up, and we will help you another way.
  • What AI can see: AI tools may process what you say or type, your contact information and details you share about your home loan or real estate needs, only as needed to help you.
  • People make the decisions: AI does not approve, deny or price your loan, and it does not make credit decisions. Licensed people at Conde Mortgage review your information and make those decisions. AI answers are general information, not a loan approval, commitment or legal or tax advice.
  • Our AI vendors: AI service providers process your information only to provide services to us, under confidentiality and security terms. We do not allow them to sell your information or use it for their own marketing. Your mobile number and text consent are never shared for marketing.
  • Talk to a person: You can ask to speak with a real person at any time. Just say or text “human” or “agent,” or call (760) 517-7171.
  • Opt out: Reply STOP to stop all texts, including AI texts. Tell us on any call, or email martin@condemortgage.com, to stop AI or prerecorded calls.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar tools so it can work, remember your choices and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, but you can use the choices in this policy.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. These include secure systems, encryption where appropriate, and access limited to people who need it. No system is 100% secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information was misused.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping rules for mortgage and real estate businesses. After that, we securely delete or destroy it.

Financial privacy (federal law)

When you apply for a loan, federal law (the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) gives you certain rights. We will give you our separate Privacy Notice with your loan documents. It explains how we share nonpublic personal information and how to limit sharing where the law allows. California’s Financial Information Privacy Act also applies and may give you more protection.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and share
  • Get a copy of your personal information
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your personal information (some limits apply, such as records we must keep by law)
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights

Information covered by federal financial privacy laws (like loan application data) may be handled under those laws instead.

To make a request, email martin@condemortgage.com or call (760) 517-7171. We will verify your identity before we act. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Our site links to other sites, such as our secure loan application portal, booking calendars, home value tools and social media. Their own privacy policies apply.
